Dave has over 20 years of industry experience and has led many organizations to find new ways to use technology his whole career. He has developed various types of software for interactive learning and simulations and led numerous large technology initiatives in database, web applications and back-office operations. Prior to BackOffice Thinking, Dave was an acting CTO for a midsize technology firm and a Director of Development for a web services firm. Earlier, Dave led a development team at Bell Atlantic in developing the first online yellow pages. Dave earned a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed graduate work in computer science and software engineering at Boston University and Northeastern University. Dave is on the United Methodist Church's National Web Ministry advisory board and is active in his local church serving on the SPPC team and providing the church with technology support. |
Paul has over 20 years of industry experience in technology management, supply chain, and manufacturing. For the past 10 years, he has advised Fortune 500 firms, large and small not-for-profit organizations, and has significant experience helping technology firms grow. Paul has worked with numerous clients on their web strategies and led many multi-million dollar web projects across a variety of industries. Paul has presented at University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Drexel's LeBow School of Business and other venues on Technology, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Web Ministry. Prior to founding BackOfficeThinking, Paul was The COO and CFO and a primary principal at Fusion Technologies, a technology consulting firm with sales and delivery organizations across the US, Europe, Pakistan and India. Paul led Fusion's growth and led the process to sell Fusion in 2006 to Safeguard Scientifics. At the time of the sale, Fusion had close to 250 employees. Previously, Paul was the global operations planning manager for ARCO Chemical's Performance Chemical division. He has worked at ARCO Chemical, Merck, and DuPont where he held various financial, manufacturing, and business leadership roles in both the US and Europe. Paul earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is active in his church and several service organizations. He is also on the board for technology firms and service organizations including the United Methodist Church's National Web Ministry advisory board. |
